- 12 lasagna noodles
- 16 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced

- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, sausage, onion, and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water to the skillet. Stir in sugar, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles and rinse with cold water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt
