- 500g ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 can of chopped tomatoes
- 500ml beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Transfer the cooked beef to your crockpot. Add the chopped onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes.
- Pour in the chopped tomatoes and beef broth. Stir in the tomato paste, dried thyme, and paprika.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Give everything a good stir to combine.
- Set your crockpot to low and let it cook for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, give the stew a final stir and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
