Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 cup ginger ale
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes, as needed
- Orange slices and mint leaves for garnish
Feel free to substitute ginger ale with sparkling water if you prefer a less sweet option. And if you’re feeling adventurous, a dash of nutmeg can add a lovely depth to the flavor profile.
Instructions
- Begin by chilling your glasses in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. This little trick, passed down from my mum, ensures your drink stays refreshingly cool.
- In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice, ginger ale, honey, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until the honey is fully dissolved. The aroma at this stage always takes me straight back to my mum’s kitchen.
- Fill the chilled glasses with ice cubes, and pour the orange juice mixture over the ice, letting it cascade like a waterfall of flavor.
- Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of mint, adding a touch of elegance and a burst of freshness with every sip.
