Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups apple juice, preferably freshly pressed
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- Slices of fresh apple and lime, for garnish
Feel free to substitute the cranberry juice with pomegranate juice for a different twist, or use agave syrup in place of honey for a vegan option. The key is to make it your own, just like my mum taught me with her endless array of garden-fresh ingredients.
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the apple juice, cranberry juice, and lime juice. Stir well to mix.
- If you prefer your drink a bit sweeter, add the honey or maple syrup and stir until fully dissolved.
- Just before serving, add the sparkling water or club soda to the juice mixture. This ensures the drink remains bubbly and refreshing.
- Fill each glass with ice cubes, then pour the drink over the ice. I find that using large ice cubes slows the dilution process, keeping the flavors intact longer.
- Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of apple and lime. These little touches always remind me of the thoughtful details my mum would add to her creations.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the bright, refreshing flavors!
